Join us for a presentation by Alex Niemczewski, co-founder and CEO BallotReady, a free nonpartisan online election voter guide. Soon after its founding in Chicago in 2015, BallotReady won the New Venture Challenge at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. Since then, it has grown exponentially and now covers every race in elections nationwide. In 2018, the Chicago start-up received the Social Innovator Award at the 17th annual Chicago Innovation Awards. Niemczewski will discuss the history and future of BallotReady, and she will explore current strategies to increase voter turnout and the impact the dissemination of information can have on elections.
